Dick Glass, a multi-instrumentalist on trumpet, keyboard, guitar, and bass from South
Portland, Maine. Mr. Glass joined the U.S. Army right out of high school, and graduated from the
U.S. Naval School of Music in Washington, D.C. He spent two years performing with U.S.
Army Bands in both the U.S. and Germany. After his discharge from the Army, he attended
Berklee School of Music in Boston, and performed with several New England based bands. Mr.
Glass toured the east coast and made one trip opening for Frankie Vallee and the Four Seasons.
He re-joined the military a few years later by joining the Naval Academy Band as the lead guitarist
in the newly formed touring rock band "Tidal Wave". After five years with Tidal Wave, he
transferred to The U.S. Navy Band in Washington, D.C. as a multi-instrumentalist with the rock
band "Port Authority". In 1995, Mr. Glass retired from the Navy with the rank of Senior Chief,
and has been free-lancing throughout the Mid-Atlantic.
